NASCAR’s late Greg Biffle’s family holiday card arrives

The death of Greg Biffles and his family has been a heartbreaking event. The family mailed out holiday greeting cards before the tragic event that took their lives.

Greg Biffle, a celebrated NASCAR driver, passed away last Thursday when the plane he was traveling in with his wife and children fatally crashed, taking several lives that were on board.

Greg Biffle, along with his wife Cristina and their two children, were all fatally killed in the heartbreaking event. Their 14-year-old daughter Emma managed to survive the crash.

After the accident, a heartbreaking event has invoked a lot of heartache once again. Family holiday cards that the Biffle clan sent out began to arrive in mailboxes for their friends and family this week.

A friend of the family, a restaurant owner in North Carolina named Ron Herbert, shared the card on social media. He paid tribute to the Biffles while mentioning the heartbreak he felt at the loss as well.

The card showed the entire family posing together in front of a Christmas tree in matching outfits of plain white T-shirts and stonewashed jeans. They were all smiling at the camera together.

The family was flying to Sarasota, Florida, from Statesville Regional Airport outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, according to reports.

During the course of the flight, the plan turned around and attempted to land back at Statesville Regional Airport. At around 10:15 am, the plane crashed and burst into flames.

The crash was confirmed by Statesville Regional Airport in a statement which said, “We can confirm there has been an aircraft incident at the Statesville Regional Airport. At approximately 10:15 a.m., an aircraft crashed while landing. The Federal Aviation Administration is en route and will investigate the incident.”

An investigation by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is set to take place to find out what happened.

This is such a heartbreaking event. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Biffle family.
