Florida Sheriff Slammed For Shocking Threats Toward Protesters During Press Conference

A Florida sheriff has delivered a harsh warning as further protests against the ongoing ICE arrests are planned around the United States.

In recent days, protests against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) crackdown on immigration have been held across the United States, notably in Los Angeles and other locations.

TikTok celebrity Khaby Lame even left the US after being arrested because to the recent attention on immigration and visas.

Protesters eager to protest the arrests are also likely to turn their attention to President Donald Trumpโ€™s birthday parade this weekend in Washington, D.C. Nonetheless, Florida and other states and regions anticipate protests as well.

Sheriff Wayne Ivey of Brevard County has stated unequivocally that protester violence will not be accepted and will result in dire repercussions.

He said during a press conference that protesters would face the full weight of the law if theyย โ€œthrow a brick, a firebomb, or point a gun.โ€

He continued,ย โ€œIf you block an intersection or a roadway in Brevard County, you are going to jail. If you flee arrest, youโ€™re going to go to jail tired because we are going to run you down and put you in jail.โ€

He went on to say,ย โ€œIf you try to mob rule a car in Brevard County, gathering around it, refusing to let the driver leave in our county, youโ€™re most likely going to get run over and dragged across the street.โ€

Iveyโ€™s vicious threats didnโ€™t end there, either: โ€˜Youโ€™re going to the hospital and then jail if you spit on usโ€™, he added.

โ€œIf you hit one of us, youโ€™re going to the hospital and jail, and most likely get bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs we have here.โ€

โ€œIf you throw a brick, a firebomb, or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains, because we will kill you, graveyard dead. Weโ€™re not going to play.โ€

Ivey has become well known for his bold statements in his press conferences. In 2021, after his force seized 700 pounds of cannabis, he shared:ย โ€œIf you happened to have lost or misplaced approximately 770 pounds of high-grade marijuana and would like to have your property returned, please contact our Narcotics Agents and we will be more than happy to reunite you with your lost property!!โ€

But heโ€™s also been in trouble before for his statements. He was sued in 2023 by a guy who said Iveyโ€™s posting of him in a weekly โ€˜Wheel of Fugitiveโ€™ video on social media had upset his life.

The individual said that because he was featured in the criminal roundup, he was incorrectly included and lost a potential employment.
