SAN MATEO, Calif.( KRON) — Two 4- time-old binary boys were boggled by their own father in what police are calling a “ terrible ” murder- self-murder. Their mama , linked on Thursday as Alice Priyanka Benziger, was also taken by her hubby before he shot himself, police said.

The San Mateo Police Department linked the killer as 37- time-old Anand Henry. A San Mateo County Sheriff’s coroner linked the 4- time-old sisters as Nathan Henry and Noah Henry.

Police said the family of four was dead inside their house on Alameda de las Pulgas in San Mateo for nearly two days before anyone knew commodity was wrong.

Neighbors said the father, mama , and their youthful sons sounded like a happy and normal family. The halves were friendly and loved to surge at neighbors. The San Mateo Police Department verified that it had no previous reports of domestic violence stemming from Benziger, 38, and her hubby.

SMPD wrote, “ There’s no history of violence at the home, and outside of the environment of this incident, the San Mateo Police Department has only responded to the home since 2020 on reports of a mountain captain in the yard. ”

Police said they’re still trying to establish a motive for why a wedded father of two would kill his entire family.

Officers were dispatched to the house at 9 a.m. Monday to check on the family’s good. Officers climbed through an uncorked window to find the halves deceased inside a bedroom, and the hubby and woman
dead in a restroom.

Investigators believe that the murder- self-murder happed on Saturday autumn. Police said Anand Henry shot his woman
multiple times, and killed his sons, before he used a 9 mm handgun to kill himself.

A 911 frequenter told exigency dispatchers on Monday that they were “ unfit to get a hold of the family over the course of the weekend, ” and that police officers should check on the family of four, according to SMPD.

The father formerly worked as a software mastermind director at Google and Meta, and he lately created an artificial intelligence company, the San Mateo Daily Journal reported. Benziger was employed by Zillow as a data wisdom director, the Journal reported.

A prophet for the coroner’s office said Nathan and Noah’s cause of death would not be released Thursday.

SMPD wrote, “ At this time, next of kin have been notified and we can now confirm the individualities as Anand Henry( father), Alice Benziger( mama ), and their binary boys. Our disquisition shows Benziger succumbed to multiple projectile injuries, while Henry suffered from a single shot. The cause of death for the minor boys is still pending pathology, but we can confirm they did n’t die from gunfire or show signs of fleshly trauma. ”

Neighbors who live on the quiet road told KRON4 that the incident was shocking.

“ While we ca n’t undo this terrible incident, we’d like to partake with our community both domestic violence and internal health coffers, because there’s help and/ or backing out there, and commodity like this does n’t need to be again, ” the police department wrote.
