Brad Paisley And Kimberly Williams-Paisley STUN Nashville With A Christmas Giveaway Nobody Saw Coming

Brad Paisley & Kimberly Williams-Paisley’s Charity Helps Over 1,100 Children Through Third-Annual Holiday Toy Store

Nashville’s beloved charity The Store, founded by Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, hosted its third-annual Toy Store on December 5–6, continuing its mission of providing dignity, choice, and joy to families facing food insecurity during the holidays.

A Grocery Store With a Purpose — And a Holiday Mission

Throughout the year, The Store operates as a free grocery store for individuals and families in need. Customers are screened for eligibility, then shop for essentials just as they would at any supermarket — an intentional part of the organization’s philosophy.

As their website states:

“The Store is more than a place to get free groceries; it’s a space where individuals and families can choose from a variety of healthy, fresh, and nutritious foods… without the worry of cost.”

But during Christmas, that philosophy expands into something even more magical.

5,000 Toys, 600 Volunteers, 1,100 Children Helped

With more than 5,000 toys available and over 600 volunteers helping run the event, The Store’s 2025 Toy Store ensured that over 1,100 children will have Christmas presents waiting under their tree this year.

Families who qualify for assistance at The Store received 20 tickets per child, which could be exchanged for toys. Items ranged from small gifts to big-ticket items such as:

30 Gibson guitars donated by Gibson Gives

Bicycles

A wide range of age-appropriate toys across multiple categories

While some children enjoyed choosing their own presents, parents hoping to keep gifts a surprise had the option of letting kids participate in supervised activities while they shopped privately.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley: “Dignity Is Essential”

In a video shared on social media, Kimberly Williams-Paisley emphasized the emotional importance of the event:

“This kind of normalcy — getting to pick a gift for someone you love — might fall by the wayside if you’re facing food insecurity, because you don’t have the money for a luxury like that.”

She added:

“It’s essential that people retain their dignity. We want this to feel a little bit luxurious and special.”

Brad Paisley: “This Encapsulates Our Vision”

Speaking with Nashville’s NewsChannel5, Brad Paisley expressed how the Toy Store embodies the mission behind his and Kimberly’s nonprofit:

“I know feeding people is the mission for us, but nothing illustrates the vision of dignity and choice like this. When you see kids come in and pick what they want, it’s just the best sort of encapsulation of what we want to do.”

A Community Effort

Presented by Sam’s Club, the event was made possible thanks to community partners, volunteer efforts, toy donations, and local contributors. The Toy Store has quickly become a Nashville holiday tradition — one that blends joy, generosity, and empowerment.

Below are the videos of Brad and Kimberly discussing the event, along with behind-the-scenes looks at how Toy Store 2025 was organized and experienced by families.
