A 26-year-old woman has been arrested after police said they discovered videos allegedly showing her engaging in illegal s*x acts with a dog.
Cassie Snay is facing two counts of bestiality following an investigation in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Authorities said the material was found on the phone of convicted sex offender Trey Mettler.
According to court documents, the alleged incidents took place over several months in 2024.
Investigators said the acts occurred between January and October of last year. The videos were allegedly recorded at multiple locations in Fort Wayne.
Police said some footage appeared to show the same animal involved on more than one occasion.
The investigation began on December 13, 2024, when the Wells County Sheriff’s Office opened a case into Mettler.

He was being investigated after allegedly failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements. Mettler was arrested on January 6, 2025, in connection with that violation.
Arrest and digital investigation
During Mettler’s arrest, deputies searched his vehicle and seized two mobile phones. One of the devices was identified as an Apple iPhone 14.
Investigators later obtained a judge-approved search warrant to examine the contents of both phones.
The phones were analysed by the Allen County High Tech Crime Unit. Detective Quinton Greer, a sex crimes investigator with the Wells County Sheriff’s Office, began reviewing data from the iPhone on March 3, 2025.

Court records detail the scope of the material found during the review.
Investigators said the phone contained multiple social media accounts. They also found approximately 69,000 images and around 11,000 videos stored on the device. Among the files, Greer identified content allegedly involving Mettler and Snay.
Detective Greer said he recognised Snay from previous police interactions. He also knew she had an “on-again, off-again” relationship with Mettler.
Several files allegedly showed Snay engaging in s*x acts with a black-and-tan dog, according to investigators.
Police said at least one video was recorded at a Motel 6 on West Coliseum Boulevard in Fort Wayne.

Other alleged incidents were said to have taken place at a private residence. That residence was identified by Snay as her mother’s home, according to court documents.
Under Indiana law, a conviction for bestiality carries a potential prison sentence. The charge is punishable by between six months and two-and-a-half years in custody. It can also result in a fine of up to $10,000.
