The third baby born at the hospital in 2026 was a baby boy born to Selina Moore and Patrick Connor from Limavady. The little boy entered the world at 11.07am, weighing 6lbs 5oz.
In South West Acute Hospital (SWAH), the first baby of 2026 was a baby girl, named Croia Rose Landers, who was born at 07.35am to parents Olivia Kubiak and Mark Landers.

There was also one Christmas baby born in the SWAH – Baby Charlie Andrews from the Brookeborough area.
