‘Millions’ of women are loving a bedroom kink men don’t even realize exists

What you like in the bedroom is, of course, totally up to you – but sometimes it’s fun to broaden your horizons a little.

A sex expert just revealed a kink that’s been blowing up online.

Apparently, a lot of straight men have no idea this is something many women actually enjoy in the bedroom, at least according to TikTok.

The thing many men are missing
It turns out, millions of women are into some simple, easy-to-miss turn-ons that men often overlook. And no, it’s not about crazy positions or over-the-top ideas—sometimes the simplest things make the biggest difference.

Of course, everyone’s different. Open communication is key, but a lot of women just want chemistry to flow naturally, without spelling out every move or giving a post-sex “well done” recap.

Here’s the first thing men are missing: the praise kink.

And just to be clear, it’s not only about liking compliments.

Sex professor Dr. Nicole K. McNichols explains:

“People who have praise kinks get turned on by their partner complimenting them during sex. It exists on a continuum because, really, who doesn’t love being told they’re beautiful or amazing in some way?”

”I mean, words of affirmation are a love language after all, especially for people who grew up maybe not hearing a lot of them.”

”I’m looking at you…”
In a video on TikTok, the expert said,

”I’m looking at you, Gen X, but receiving praise can be a turn on. Feeling wanted and desired in general is a huge aphrodisiac.”

She also pointed out that;

”For some people though, a praise kink is a bit more extreme.”

”I mean, if you love being told, Good girl, good boy, you feel so good. It feels amazing when you blank and you might have a praise kink.

”In which case, good for you, because I think that makes you amazing,” Dr McNichols said.

”Best day ever!”
Data columnist Jana Hocking told the Daily Mail in 2023 that praise kink ”it’s horrendously self-centred, slightly narcissistic, and probably a bit shameless to admit to.”

But she was quick to confess she’s ”very much on board with it,” adding, It has had a whopping 60 million views on TikTok ”so clearly I’m not the only one lapping it up.”

And women on social media clearly agree. One wrote: “I told him. He does it more now. Best day ever!”

Another commented: “I can assure you that most romance book girls would likely have this kink.”

And a third revealed: “This guy was feeding my praise kink all game without even knowing it.”

What is broadening?
By the way, There’s a second trend more women are quietly loving: broadening.

Psychosexual therapist Natasha Silverman says it’s basically:

“Dry-humping on steroids,”

…because it involves rubbing the entire vulva against a surface instead of just the clit tip, creating more intense stimulation. Many women have been doing it since they discovered self-pleasure—but often didn’t even know it had a name.

So what’s the takeaway for men? Awareness is everything. With broadening, there’s not much to do unless you’re up for being the “stable surface.” But praise? That’s easy. A little verbal affirmation goes a long way.

The lesson? Women’s desires are often simpler, more varied, and communication-driven than stereotypes suggest. Sometimes the small things make the biggest impact.
