Rapper claims Lyft driver refused her ride
Plus-sized rapper Dajua Blanding, known as Dank Demoss, is suing Lyft after a driver refused her a ride, claiming she was “too big to fit in the back seat.” Blanding says she ordered a Lyft to attend a watch party but was turned away by a driver who cited “very tired tires” and lack of space. Blanding filed a lawsuit alleging discrimination based on her weight, arguing it’s as unlawful as discrimination based on race or religion.
