Rising Latin music star DELAROSA has died after falling victim to what authorities have described as an ambush-style attack in Los Angeles.

According to tragic reports, the 22-year-old No Me Llames singer was shot in the San Fernando Valley area early on the morning of Saturday, November 22.

Two others were critically injured in the attack, which authorities say occurred while DELAROSA was sitting in a parked vehicle in Northridge, LA.

Witnesses to the incident told police that two men approached the vehicle in question at close to 1:25 am, firing multiple rounds that appeared to target all three of the passengers.

“Witnesses described seeing two male suspects approach a vehicle that was parked on Bryant Street,” the LAPD revealed in a statement on Monday.

“Multiple rounds were fired at several victims who were parked in the area in their vehicle.”

Investigators believe the incident was a planned hit. DELAROSA, an emerging artist with over 40,000 Instagram followers, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries.

DELAROSA gained popularity for her debut song No Me Llames (Don’t Call Me in English), released in August of this year.

The burgeoning singer appeared to tease the prospect of more forthcoming music in her last Instagram post, shared on October 30.

“Ocupada cocinando en el Stu 🎶👩🏻‍🍳no me llames 🪄🪞🐩 Ya es tiempo… GAME TIME BABY,” the 22-year-old wrote in Spanish, translating to: “Busy cookin in the Stu. don’t call me. It’s about that time.”

At the time of writing, police have made no arrests in relation to the shooting.

“It was obviously personal. Someone who she knew,” speculated one Instagram user.

“This was a hit….plain and simple,” another added.

“RIP so shocking god bless so young hope they catch the culprit,” wrote a third.

“Sounds like an inside job someone was hating/jealous of her cause she was in her bag and making boss moves,” said a fourth commenter.

Rest in peace, DELAROSA. 22 is such a terribly young age to pass away.
