Former White House official claims secret cities built underground

In a shocking revelation, a former Bush administration official claimed that the U.S. government had created a covert underground universe as a haven to shield the ultra-wealthy from a “near extinct event.”

The allegations are shocking and may even be difficult to accept.

Speaking with Tucker Carlson on his podcast, Catherine Austin Fitts, the former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, revealed some information in a claim that sounds like something from a dystopian sci-fi thriller.

Fitts told the former Fox News host that she spent years searching for $21 trillion in unapproved spending in the Departments of Defense and Housing and Urban Development during her tenure in the George H.W. Bush administration (1989–1990).

“Unsupported modifications”
A 2017 report published by economist Mark Skidmore of Michigan State University (MSU) piqued her curiosity about the missing funds.

According to a statement released by MSU, the report “showed the Army had $6.5 trillion in unsupported adjustments, or spending, in fiscal 2015.” Considering the Army’s $122 billion budget, the unsupported adjustments amounted to 54 times the amount of spending that Congress had approved. Usually, only a small portion of authorized spending is affected by such changes to public budgets.

The “gargantuan nature of unsupported” federal spending “should be a great concern to all taxpayers,” Forbes continues.

Fitts, a former investment banker, was determined to find the money, so he and Skidmore dug deep beneath the surface of the earth for two years.

The soil
Fitts now claims in her recent interview with Carlson that the money was hidden for decades by layers of financial manipulation and government secrecy, both literally and figuratively.

She claims that the funds were used for illegal projects, such as the purported building of enormous underground facilities, or sprawling underground cities, with the resources, technology, and infrastructure necessary to withstand a global extinction-level catastrophe.

Living underground
“I have examined the constructed underground base, city infrastructure, and transportation system,” she said.

“I apologize,” Carlson said, clearly taken aback by her shocking admission

Fitts went on to say, “We have constructed an astounding number of underground bases and, supposedly, transportation systems.” A few of these are listed as being a part of the infrastructure for national security. In the US and around the world, I believe there are a lot more.

Fitts went on to say that these cities, or “bases,” also exist “under the ocean around the United States,” which further increased the shock factor.

According to her, “with the transportation network connecting them,” there are roughly 170.

Preserve the wealthy
Although Fitts claims that the bunkers are powered by “breakthrough energy,” it is unclear what amenities the underground network will provide its occupants.

The location of the secret bunkers was also unclear at first; Fitts merely explained that the enormous underground cities were constructed with tax money to enable the government to carry out “secret” projects or as a safe haven to protect the ultra-elite from a “near extinction event.”

Fitts stated, “It wasn’t an accident.” It was a choice. a choice to deprive the nation of its resources, destroy its communities, and leave regular Americans to bear the consequences.

Although the notion of a covert underground society seems extremely conspiratorial, Fitts’ experience in finance and her in-depth investigation of government budget inconsistencies have given her claims some traction. However, there is still no concrete evidence.
