A bizarre family drama out of Australia has gone viral after a Queensland builder claimed he caught his girlfriend in bed with his 19-year-old son, only for the pair to later confirm they are now in a relationship.

Levi Hilton, 38, shared a video on Instagram on June 8 showing his partner, Jessica Te Huia, 38, and his teenage son Lorenzo in bed together. In the clip, both appear scantily dressed as Levi confronts them and repeatedly asks whether they had slept together.

“Why is my son in your bed?” he asks in the footage, while Jessica insists, “I am not doing anything.”

Levi later claimed the video had actually been filmed a week earlier, on June 1, after he allegedly entered Jessica’s home at 4 a.m. using a butter knife. Property records reportedly show the house belongs solely to Jessica, although Levi said he had also been living there.

Since the footage went viral, Jessica and Lorenzo have spoken out, revealing they have been romantically involved for several weeks and insisting there is “another side” to the story.

According to Jessica, her nine-month relationship with Levi ended around two months ago, while she and Lorenzo began dating three weeks ago. She also said she was forced to delete her social media accounts after facing intense backlash and accusations from online trolls.

Defending the relationship, Jessica stressed that Lorenzo is an adult and said people should not rush to conclusions.

“I know how this looks from an outsider’s perspective,” she admitted. “I get the perception.”

However, she insisted their relationship developed because Lorenzo consistently supported her during difficult times with his father.

“But Lorenzo has done nothing but be in my corner and defend me,” she said, adding that she eventually found “comfort” in him.

Lorenzo echoed those sentiments in comments to the Daily Mail, claiming he had long disliked the way his father treated Jessica and had witnessed turbulent relationships throughout his childhood.

He accused Levi of always putting himself first and described himself as someone who had always tried to take care of the family.

“He is more of a man than he will ever be,” Jessica said of Lorenzo.

Screenshots of a text exchange between father and son, shared by Levi himself, appeared to support the couple’s claims. In the messages, Lorenzo confessed his feelings to his father.

“Jess holds a special place in my heart, and I honestly love her more than anyone or anything in this world, Dad,” he wrote.

“I know it’s weird, but the heart wants what it wants.”

Jessica has also accused Levi of defaming her and claimed she spent much of June 9 reporting him to police. She further alleged that her relationship with the builder left her with significant emotional trauma.

“I lived a very peaceful and happy life until this man came into my life,” she said, adding that she had tried to help him improve and even encouraged him to attend church.

Meanwhile, Levi initially raised eyebrows when, during an interview, he openly admitted to entering Jessica’s home before later adopting a more measured tone.

“After reflecting on everything that’s happened, I need to speak honestly about how deeply this has affected me,” he said.

“I was completely blindsided by a situation that turned my life upside down in an instant. It was shocking, overwhelming, and something I never could have prepared for emotionally.”

Levi added that he would not say anything further, arguing that the matter involves close family members who deserve privacy.

Jessica, however, rejected his portrayal of events and insisted he should not be viewed as the victim.
