Sharon Osbourne addresses the heart-wrenching weight loss of her daughter Kelly

Sharon Osbourne Defends Daughter Kelly Amid Weight-Loss Criticism
Sharon Osbourne has slammed trolls targeting her daughter Kelly Osbourne’s recent weight loss. The 73-year-old TV personality opened up during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, revealing the emotional toll the year has taken on her family.

Kelly Strikes Back
Kelly Osbourne herself has publicly addressed critics. After receiving flirty and harsh online comments about her appearance, she called out the relentless trolling.

“To the people writing, ‘Are you ill?’ or making jokes about Ozmpic—my dad just died,” Kelly said. “I’m doing the best I can. I only have my family right now. So, f** off.”

Sharon supported her daughter, saying Kelly’s reaction was justified. “She’s not happy. She’s lost her daddy. She can’t eat right now,” Sharon said.

Trolling Reveals More About Critics

Sharon added that trolling often reflects the critic’s own unhappiness. “It’s a shield, jealousy, and people projecting their perception onto others. I feel sorry for them—they’re not happy.”

On December 10, Kelly shared an Instagram Story reinforcing her point. “All you’ve achieved is being a bully. It’s sick. You’re mentally ill,” she wrote. She explained her life was “completely flipped upside down” and expressed frustration at expectations that she appear fine.

Clarifying the Weight-Loss Story

While Sharon lost 42 pounds in four months using Oz*mpic, Kelly emphasized she did not take the medication. “I had gestational diabetes and needed to lose weight safely,” she explained. Her approach relied on cutting sugar and carbs.

Grieving the Loss of Ozzy Osbourne
The Osbournes are still coping with the death of Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July at 76. Sharon recounted her last conversation with him, 20 minutes before finding him unresponsive in the gym.

“He had a heart attack. I ran downstairs… I knew instantly he’d gone,” Sharon recalled. The TV personality also addressed insensitive comments from Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, describing his remarks as inappropriate and irrelevant during their grief.

Sharon’s Message
Sharon’s interview reflected both grief and protective love. She called out trolls, defended her daughter, and shared the emotional impact of losing her husband.

“Attempts to hurt Kelly with cruel comments ignore her reality,” Sharon said. “She’s grieving. She’s human. And people should be more compassionate.”

Final Thoughts
Kelly continues to navigate the challenges of public scrutiny while processing personal loss. Sharon remains a steadfast protector, emphasizing that trolling often reveals more about the critic than the victim.
