Spencer Pratt Torches TMZ for Hit Piece on His Burned-Down Home – Exposes LA’s Failed Leadership…

Spencer Pratt is drawing major attention after a heated exchange with TMZ over his campaign messaging during his run for mayor of Los Angeles. In a viral interview, Pratt pushed back against accusations that his campaign ad was misleading for showing an Airstream trailer parked on the burned remains of his former Pacific Palisades property while he also stayed in hotels and other temporary locations after losing his home in the fire.

Pratt firmly defended the ad, saying the trailer represents his current reality after the destruction of his house. He blamed city leadership, including Mayor Karen Bass, for what he described as failures that contributed to the devastation and broader decline across Los Angeles. Pratt argued that the real issue is not where he temporarily sleeps, but what he sees as growing problems involving crime, homelessness, unsafe public spaces, and slow government response following disasters.

The mayoral candidate also claimed he has received ongoing threats because of his outspoken criticism of city policies and his campaign platform. Pratt criticized city bureaucracy for delays in restoring utilities to his property and said his experience reflects the frustrations many residents face. Supporters say his blunt style and focus on public safety are resonating with voters frustrated by conditions in Los Angeles, while critics accuse him of politicizing personal tragedy during his campaign.
