The most muscular woman in the world reveals how she looked before and everyone is saying the same thing

In a world obsessed with surface beauty and unrealistic body standards, Nataliya Kuznetsova stands as a force of nature — not just defying expectations, but redefining them entirely.
Born July 1, 1991, in the cold reaches of Chita, Siberia, Nataliya didn’t always look like the “World’s Most Muscular Woman.” At 14, she weighed only 80 pounds. That same year, something inside her shifted. Drawn to the power and discipline of strength training, she walked into a gym with a single goal: to get stronger.

It started with a dream, but quickly became a mission. Under coach Alexei Ivanov’s rigorous supervision, young Nataliya focused on building strength — not chasing aesthetics. But with every rep, she gained not just muscle, but confidence. By 17, she was already benching 220 pounds.

Fast forward to today: Nataliya weighs around 220 to 275 pounds depending on the season, holds multiple world titles in arm lifting, bench press, and deadlift, and has become a viral sensation for her astounding physique and unapologetic presence.

But her story isn’t just about brute strength. It’s also about sacrifice, resilience, and challenging the world’s expectations.

Nicknamed the “Amazonka,” Nataliya’s bench press tops 374 pounds, and her deadlift has reached a staggering 530. At 5’7” tall, her biceps measure over 18.5 inches — dimensions rarely seen even in elite male athletes. And yet, her presence transcends numbers. Her social media presence, with over a million followers, showcases not just workout tips and flexed poses, but also moments of vulnerability, reflection, and humanity.

“I don’t aim for perfection,” she once wrote on Facebook. “I aim to show up, put in the work, and move closer to my goals.”

Despite her global fame, Nataliya’s rise wasn’t easy. In Russia, sponsorships for female bodybuilders were scarce. She often paid her own way to competitions, scrimping and saving to chase a dream most people didn’t understand. But social media changed everything. Her striking appearance and raw strength captured global attention — and eventually, the backing of major fitness brands.

Yet with fame came criticism.

Many mocked her looks, questioning her femininity or calling her “ugly.” She brushed them off with brutal honesty. “My best advisor is a mirror,” she said, “and I don’t live for their approval.”

Still, Nataliya is more than a sculpted body. She holds a degree from the Moscow State Academy of Physical Culture and has appeared in prestigious artistic productions like Manon Lescaut at the Bolshoi Theatre. In 2015, she married fellow bodybuilder Vladislav Kuznetsov, whom she met on a Russian social media site. Their story, built on mutual respect and strength — both literal and emotional — is a rare glimpse into the tender side of a woman often mistaken for only her exterior.

Though she briefly announced her retirement in 2017, Nataliya returned to the stage within two years, hungrier than ever. Now focused on coaching, she aims to empower others — especially women — to discover their own strength, no matter how unconventional.

In a world that still struggles with diversity in beauty and strength, Nataliya Kuznetsova isn’t just lifting weights.

She’s lifting the conversation.
