Unlike police cars, fire trucks, or ambulances, vehicles with green flashing lights usually do not have emergency priority. Drivers are not legally required to move aside as they would for sirens or red-and-blue emergency lights. Normal traffic rules still apply.

Still, it is a good idea to stay calm, alert, and considerate. When it is safe, giving these vehicles extra space can help protect everyone on the road. In the end, green lights are more about awareness than urgency, reminding drivers that some important trips still deserve patience and respect.
