Donald Trump issues chilling new threat to Iran after ‘totally unacceptable’ peace proposal

Donald Trump has ripped into Iran’s latest peace proposal, saying “I don’t like it,” while reigniting his attacks on Barack Obama and the former president’s nuclear deal, calling him a “weak and stupid American President.”

On May 10, Donald Trump unloaded on Tehran for allegedly stringing the United States along for decades, arguing the regime finally hit “pay dirt” during the Obama administration when it found “the greatest SUCKER of them all.”

“Iran has been playing games with the United States, and the rest of the World, for 47 years (DELAY, DELAY, DELAY! and then finally hit ‘pay dirt’ when Barack Hussein Obama became President,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“The Iranians couldn’t believe their luck. They finally found the greatest SUCKER of them all, in the form of a weak and stupid American President. [Obama] was a disaster as our ‘Leader,’ but not as bad as Sleepy Joe Biden!”

The president didn’t stop there. Trump accused Iran of manipulating negotiations for years while fueling violence and unrest across the region.

“For 47 years the Iranians have been ‘tapping’ us along, keeping us waiting, killing our people with their roadside bombs, destroying protests, and recently wiping out 42,000 innocent, unarmed protestors, and laughing at our now GREAT AGAIN Country. They will be laughing no longer!”

‘I don’t like it’
The heated comments arrived as new details surfaced about Iran’s latest response to a US-backed peace proposal reportedly delivered through Pakistani mediators.

According to reports from The Wall Street Journal cited by the New York Post, Tehran refused to discuss its nuclear and missile programs immediately and instead pushed to focus first on ending fighting in the region and gradually restoring movement through the Strait of Hormuz.

If Washington agreed to those terms, Iranian officials reportedly suggested nuclear talks could follow over the next 30 days.

Iran also allegedly floated a temporary suspension of uranium enrichment and proposed transferring some atomic material to a third country, though the pause reportedly fell well short of the 20-year moratorium demanded by the United States.

The Islamic republic additionally wanted assurances that any uranium moved abroad would be returned if the US failed to uphold its side of the agreement.

As frustration inside the administration continued building, Trump later posted another blunt reaction after reviewing Tehran’s formal response.

“I have just read the response from Iran’s so-called ‘Representatives.’ I don’t like it – TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post shared later on May 10.

‘We’ll blow them up’
The escalating rhetoric underscored how quickly tensions have intensified again between Washington and Tehran, especially as nuclear negotiations remain deadlocked.

In a May 10 interview on “Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson,” the POTUS reinforced his position, vowing the United States would take whatever steps it deems necessary to secure Iran’s atomic stockpile.

“We’ll get that at some point,” Trump said while discussing Iran’s nuclear materials.

“We have it surveilled. You know, I did a thing called Space Force, and they are watching.”

The president then described the level of monitoring the United States claims to have over Iran’s nuclear sites.

“If somebody walked in, they can tell you his name, his address, the number of his badge,” Trump said. “We have that very well surveilled. If anybody got near the place, we will know about it, and we’ll blow them up.”
